Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 30, 2026
The Collection is a brand of JD Productions Inc., Tampa, Florida, United States.
1. Scope and purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how JD Productions Inc. (“JD Productions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through The Collection website, including its opening-invitation waitlist (the “Site”). It applies only to The Collection and does not replace the privacy policies of other websites, services, or applications that may link to or from the Site.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you join the waitlist, you provide your email address. We also create a record of your request, including the Collection stream you joined, the date and time of submission, and your subscription and communication-preference status.
Technical and consent information
To operate and protect the waitlist, we and our service providers may collect limited technical and context information, including the source host, referral page, browser or user-agent information, a one-way hash of an IP address used for abuse prevention, and delivery, unsubscribe, or suppression records. We do not ask you for payment-card information, account credentials, or precise location through this waitlist.
Information from service providers
Our email-delivery provider may return technical status information associated with a message, such as whether a contact record was created, a message was delivered, or an unsubscribe request was processed. We use that information only to maintain the Collection communications list and its required suppression records.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- record and administer your request to receive Collection communications;
- send a waitlist confirmation, Collection updates, and an opening invitation when appropriate;
- honor unsubscribe requests and maintain records needed to prevent unwanted future email;
- protect the Site and waitlist from spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Site; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information with your consent, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, and to meet legal obligations.
4. How we disclose information
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not use waitlist information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We disclose information only as needed to operate the Site and waitlist, including with:
- Vercel, which hosts and delivers the Site;
- Supabase, which stores the Collection waitlist and consent records; and
- Resend, which helps deliver and manage Collection email communications.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, government authorities, or other parties where disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the security or rights of JD Productions or others, investigate misuse, or respond to a valid legal process. If JD Productions is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
5. Email choices and retention
You can unsubscribe from Collection marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. You may also write to privacy@jdproductions.io with the email address you used to join. Opting out stops future Collection marketing emails, but we may retain limited information necessary to honor your request, prevent re-subscription errors, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.
We retain active waitlist information for as long as the Collection waitlist remains active or as otherwise needed for the purposes described in this Policy. We retain unsubscribe, consent, and suppression records only as long as reasonably necessary for compliance, recordkeeping, and preventing unwanted communications.
6. Cookies, analytics, and security
The Collection waitlist is not designed to use advertising pixels or to use the personal information you submit for targeted advertising. Our hosting, security, and email providers may use limited technical information, logs, or essential technologies to deliver, secure, and diagnose their services. We will update this Policy before materially changing the Site’s tracking or advertising practices.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission, storage system, or service provider can guarantee absolute security, and you use the Site at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@jdproductions.io and include “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request relates to you before responding.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will provide any notices and choices required by applicable law.
8. Children and international visitors
The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has submitted information to us, contact privacy@jdproductions.io so we can review and address the request.
The Collection is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from another country, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, and privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Collection evolves. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Effective and last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Site or by email when appropriate.
